Carolina is a relative newcomer to Dallas Metro—and she says she’s enjoying every program Metro has to offer. She said the Metro sidewalk truck was the first thing that caught her attention.
“After school one day I saw a truck and I wondered what it was about,” recalls the energetic 11-year-old. “I went to see the show in the truck and I found out. It was so much fun.”
Now, through the sidewalk shows and other programs, Carolina is blossoming.
“Dallas Metro helped me a lot. I went to summer camp this year and I learned about God. I also learned how if you see homeless people you should help them.”
Carolina is looking forward to being in the sixth grade this year. “My favorite subjects are math, science and reading.”
She explains that she plans to draw on her passion for science even after she graduates high school. “I want to be a nurse.”
